What Is Baccarat?
The Classic Card Game Loved Across Asia
Baccarat is a card game that has held a special place among Asian players for decades. Unlike other table games that require deep strategic knowledge, baccarat is very easy to learn — players only need to make one simple decision: bet on the Player, Banker, or Tie.
On the high5my platform, online baccarat is available in live dealer format — meaning you play alongside a real human dealer streamed live via high-quality video. This is not just a computer game; you watch every card deal happen in real time, just like sitting at a real casino table.
high5my offers a range of tables — from low-limit tables suited to new players, to exclusive VIP tables for those looking for a more private setting. All tables are accessible directly via your mobile device or computer.
- Easy to learn — Only three main betting options
- Good odds — The house edge on the Banker bet is among the lowest in the casino
- Fast gameplay — Each round completes in just a few seconds
- Available 24 hours — Tables active day and night
- Malay-speaking dealers — More comfortable communication for local players
- Multiple variations — Speed Baccarat, Squeeze Baccarat and more

Strategy Guide
Baccarat Betting Tips for high5my Players
No strategy can guarantee a certain win, but sensible betting habits help you play longer and stay in control.
Understand Each Bet
Before you start, take time to understand the differences between the Banker, Player and Tie bets — including the varying commission rates. This basic knowledge is important before wagering real money.
Set a Budget Limit
Decide how much you are willing to bet before starting a session. If that limit is reached, stop playing — this is not a lack of discipline, but a sign of a seasoned player.
Do Not Chase Losses
Doubling your bet after consecutive losses is not a safe strategy. If luck is not on your side during that session, take a break and try again at another time.
Make Use of the Trial Tables
high5my provides an option to practise first. Use this opportunity to get familiar with the game interface and card distribution patterns before playing with real money.
Keep an Eye on the Round History
The scoreboard displayed on the side of the table shows results from previous rounds. Many players use it as a reference, although each round is actually independent of the others.
Choose the Right Table
Do not rush to pick a VIP table if you are still in the learning stage. Start with low-limit tables to build confidence and understanding of the baccarat game rhythm first.
